We don’t really get tornados in Vermont, too many hills and weather patterns are too localized to let a storm build enough energy... What we do get though are some SERIOUS straight line winds. Our chicken coop weighs about 600 pounds and it took 6 people to turn it upright and put it back on it’s foundation this afternoon. for those who are concerned, all seven chickens made it safely through the ordeal.

I bet the chickens were none too pleased, either.

You’re a few days late for an Opposite Cock joke, but I’ll do it anyway.

Having fought with roosters and otherwise seen assorted chickens/guinea/turkeys/peacocks doing the things they do unscathed, I’d be surprised if they were hurt.
Ever seen an adult peacock fall 30 feet out of a tree? It’s impressive.
